I highly admire plants for no specific reason (despite the fact that they provide us with oxygen, duh). Or maybe because standing in an empty botanic garden, surrounded by loads of various green leaves can make you feel like you have your life figured out.

If you’re dreaming about a quiet gateway to the tropical jungle – £5 (or £4 if you’re a student) can get you there! The range of plantings throughout the Gardens ensures there is always something of interest, whatever the season. There are seven display glasshouses with a range of climatic conditions, cultivating plants from around the world. The first greenhouse was built at the botanic garden more than 300 years ago (woah!). (x)

Nature surprisingly happens to be as amazing as my iPhone’s camera, so here’s raw, unedited and 100% #nofilter photos.

Keep scrolling and enjoy!
